Bollywood is a world of dreams for common people. As an individual, we always try to imitate our favourite actors. Some of us imitate actors’ voice, actions, style etc. Even the new attempts from any celebs make us follow such social activity and this is the chief reason why government sometimes asks to promote some social awareness.

1. Sushmita Sen
Well known for her title as Miss Universe and ruler of millions of hearts, the very popular actress Sushmita Sen adopted not only one time but she did the same twice. Remembering the past, she stated in an interview with Tara Sharma that it was really the toughest time when she was ready to adopt the girl and legal process did not allow it so easily. She also mentioned that her father had to sign up more than his 50% of the property as security.
Now, Sushmita is a mother of two cute angels Renee and Alish. Sushmita won Miss Universe crown in 1994. When she was in the final round, she was asked: “What is the essence of a woman?” At that time her reply won everyone’s heart. She did reply,” Just being a woman is God's gift that all of us must appreciate. The origin of a child is a mother and is a woman. She shows a man what sharing, caring and loving is all about. That is the essence of a woman. ".
2. Mithun Chakravarty
Disco Dancer Mithun Chakraborty has the same dancing charm which he left before. There is another side of his life which we hardly take interest to know. Year ago, Mithun found a girl abandoned near a garbage dump in West Bengal. In spite of having 3 children – Mimoh, Ushmey and Namashi, Mithun and his wife Yogita Bali decided to adopt the girl child. Later they named the girl ‘Dishani’.
3. Raveena Tandon
Third name here is Ravina Tandon. Ravin has been in limelight due to her graceful acting, beauty and being a single mother. She adopted 2 girls – Pooja and Chhaya in 1995 when Ravin was at 21.
Ravina got her younger daughter married in 2011 and the younger one got married on 25th of January 2016 at Goa. She also married to a film distributor Anil Thadani and the couple has two children Rasha and Ranbeer.
4. Salim Khan
Salim Khan is a very famous prolific actor and screenwriter. Being a screenwriter, he wrote a number of stories, screenplay and script for Bollywood. He also paired with Javed Akhtar and the duos are regarded as the greatest screenwriters of Hindi Cinema.
Salim Khan has 3 sons and 2 daughters. His sons Salmaan, Arbaz and Sahil are very famous actors of Bollywood. His daughters have never attempted movies. His younger daughter Arpita has been a headline for media being an adopted child. Although Arpita is adopted at very young, the family never treated her like that. Even Salman believes that Arpita is the lucky charm for him.
5. Kunal Kohli
As a director cum producer, Kunal Kohli is known for his work predominantly. His best-directed movies are Hum Tum (2004) and Fanna (2006). Also, he owns a production house ‘Kunal Kohli Production’, even his directed movie Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic produced in his production.
After passing 12 years of marriage life, Kunal and his wife Raveena made a decision to adopt a child. They adopted a baby girl when she was just 7 months old and named her Radha. Although the procedure of adopting was very tedious, Kunal stated that it was really good that you have to follow the entire procedure so no one can misuse it.
